The KUNGFLEX hose fire jacket is a fiberglass woven tube with silicone rubber applied externally. Its red color is derived from iron oxide, which tends to resist heat. Advantages: Prevents external heat radiation or reduces heat transfer losses, and improves hose service life.

For the loose fit fireproof jacket, there are only two special requirements for the matching of the inner diameter and the outer diameter of the hose: the first is the length of the fireproof jacket, and the second is the surface state of the hose.
For hoses with a length of no more than 5 meters, the inner diameter of the fireproof jacket should be 15% larger than the outer diameter of the hose; Hoses longer than 5 meters should be 20% larger because the fire jacket is attached to the hose by sliding.
Therefore, the longer the hose, the more difficult it is to install the fire jacket, so pay attention to the surface condition of the hose. KUNGFLEX firecrackers can be cut into flat firecrackers for winding onto large-diameter hoses.
